Participio passado
Present Perfect
Este é mais um tempo verbal em inglês no qual o Past Participle é essencial. O Present Perfect indica uma ação que começou no passado, mas tem relevância no momento presente. Nesse caso, o auxiliar que acompanha o particípio é o HAVE ou o HAS.
They have been to many countries.
Has he already finished the report?
I haven’t seen her in a long time.
Past Perfect
Nesse caso, o particípio vem acompanhado do verbo auxiliar HAD. Esse tempo verbal indica algo que aconteceu antes de um passado mais recente:
Alison had begun her homework when the lights went out.
They hadn’t left the house by the time we arrived.
We had never traveled by plane before!
Future Perfect
E também temos o Future Perfect! Esse tempo verbal indica uma ação que estará concluída em algum ponto no futuro. Nesse caso, o conjunto de auxiliares WILL HAVE acompanha o Past Participle, indicando uma conclusão futura.
By next month, she will have written her first novel.
Vanessa will have finished college by the end of the semester.
We will not have taken our final exam by this time tomorrow.

Verbos regulares no PAST PARTICIPLE
Na maioria dos casos, você deve apenas adicionar a terminação -ed aos verbos:
worked, played, asked, phoned
Em verbos que já terminam com a letra -e, adicionamos apenas o -d:
danced, voted, believed, changed
Aqueles que terminam em -y devem ter essa letra retirada e substituída por -ied.
worried, studied, tried, notified
E para os verbos que terminam na regrinha “consoante-vogal-consoante”, devemos dobrar a última letra e adicionar a terminação -ed.
stopped, dropped, called, shopped
